Piedmont is known for its rich cultural heritage, its cuisine, and – of course – its exquisite wines. We have created a selection of the finest villages and towns, restaurants, and wine tastings for you - The adventure begins!

Montegrosso d’Asti

Montegrosso d’Asti is beautifully set among the vineyards in the UNESCO-listed Langhe, Roero and Monferrato area. The village offers history, culture, and a charming center well worth a stroll. A local market is held every Tuesday on Via XX Settembre, and the annual DiVin Mongross festival is celebrated in the village

Agliano Terme

Just two kilometers from Sogno La Vigna lies Agliano Terme, known for its charming rolling hills. The town is famous for its many village festivals and for its open wine cellars every Sunday afternoon from July to September. Each Sunday, a new winery opens its doors and invites you to taste its wines.

Costigliole d’Asti

The town “revolves” around the majestic castle, now owned by the municipality and with a history of nearly a thousand years. Today, the castle is used as an event venue and is especially known for the Barbera Rosso festival held every year in November. Every Sunday morning, you’ll find the local market in the town center.

Neive

One of our favorite villages is Neive, just 14 kilometers from Sogno La Vigna. This hilltop village is a must-visit. Here, you can dine in several places with stunning views over the Langhe hills. Feel free to book a guide to make the experience complete.

Barbaresco

Barbaresco is best known for the wine produced here, widely regarded as one of Italy’s finest. For wine lovers, this small village is absolutely worth a visit—just 17 kilometers from Sogno La Vigna..

Barolo

The village of Barolo, in the historic Langhe region, captivates visitors with its majestic castle towering over the town. Here you’ll also find the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, bringing together the finest local wines—with the famed Barolo DOCG as the undisputed king. Many festivals are held in Barolo throughout the year.

Alba

Alba is about a 30-minute drive from Sogno La Vigna. The historic center is dominated by buildings from the 14th and 15th centuries. It’s a lovely town center for shopping or enjoying a drink at an outdoor café. Every Saturday morning you’ll find Mercato della Terra di Alba in Piazza Pertinace, offering specialty cheeses, the best regional wines, artisan honey, and many other local delicacies

Acqui Terme

An attractive old town. The Romans were among the first to discover the health-giving hot springs here. There aren’t many of these springs left, but in Piazza della Bollente, right in the center, you can still see one of them. The town center has a main shopping street (Corso Dante) with many small, historic side streets behind it. It’s wonderful to stroll around and visit shops and restaurants. Every Tuesday and Friday morning, there’s a large market throughout the town center.

Torino

Turin was Italy’s first capital and the home of the House of Savoy, reflected in the grand architecture of the city center. The city feels like a vast open-air museum filled with beauty. Explore the 18 kilometers of arcades, visit artisan and art shops, or experience markets such as Porta Palazzo—Europe’s largest open-air market—and the famous flea and antiques market Balôn.Turin is about 50 minutes from Sogno La Vigna

Genova

The birthplace of explorer Christopher Columbus and the city where pesto (pesto alla genovese) originated. A great destination for a day trip and absolutely worth a visit. Genoa is about one hour from Asti by train

Milano

This is a shopping paradise. As one of the world’s fashion capitals, the city is a hotspot for style, with both major and smaller brands well represented along its streets. But Milan is of course more than just shopping—there’s plenty to see. Our advice is to take a hop-on hop-off bus to experience all the highlights of the city. Milan is about a 1.5-hour drive from Sogno La Vigna
